Mussolini Rossi 2003 - 2013

Mussolini and Bebi Rossi as puppies We regret to say that Mussolini has passed away. Mussolini has been apart of our family for over 10 years and has been a best friend to us as well as his best friend Bebi. Mussolini, you will be missed.

Mussolini was rescued from a pet store in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2002. While Shorty was on tour with the Radio City Rockettes, he stopped by a pet store to pick up dog food for Geisha who was along on tour with him. There he saw a box of puppies with no mother. Someone had dropped the litter of puppies off with the owner of the pet store.

Mussolini immediately caught the attention of Shorty with his black eye patch. He offered to take one of the puppies off of the owners hands and Mussolini became the second rescue after Geisha.

Mussolini spent his time in retirement in Mexico at Shorty’s house. He loved letting the whole neighborhood know he was outside, conversing with the neighborhood dogs. He will be missed.
