Ashley Brooks
Ashley Brooks, Receptionist

Ashley Brooks, 23, was raised in the small town of Elkton, Md. She is the daughter of average-height parents
Terry and Al. She has an average-height older sister, Crystal, and is a very proud aunt to her niece and nephew.
Ashley is an active member of Little People of America (LPA), and throughout high school, she volunteered her
time as the teen coordinator for her local LPA chapter.

Ashley moved to Los Angeles two years ago and soon Ashley became the newest member at Shortywood
Productions in her role as receptionist.

Ashley enjoys entertainment gigs and dressing up and is the first to volunteer for any jobs Shorty books.
Working with pit bulls was not something Ashley actively was looking to do, but it does come with the territory at
Shortywood. Ashley has since been able to use her keen research skills, her background in graphic design and
her endearing personality to become a key asset in helping spread Shorty’s message about pit bull rescue.

Some of Ashley’s previous jobs include working at a drop-in center for the mentally ill, performing as little person
talent through Shorty’s company and taking roadside assistance calls for a major company. On her time off,
Ashley enjoys riding her bike, going to the beach, crabbing in Maryland and listening to music.
